Tea With Michelle Duggar: Review and Give Away!

I was very blessed to be given a copy of the DVD Tea with Michelle Duggar from Vision Forum. Our family has been watching the Duggar family since their first special 14 Children and Pregnant Again. We watch them every Sunday night together, it is our family tradition.

I have to be honest with you, I think I was probably the perfect person to review this DVD. You see, when we first 'met' the Duggars, I had a hard time watching them because I was so discouraged by how 'perfect' they seemed. I have since learned it was envy and jealousy, and have repented ;-) I now love and appreciate their hearts, especially Michelle's. I have also realized that they are a very 'real' family.

I was unsure if this DVD would be worth the watch. I mean we watch them so much, what more could this offer? Well, I am here to tell you it was so worth it!!!! My favorite part was the section where Michelle is being interviewed by Beall Philips. I was brought to tears more than once as Michelle shared her struggles and her heart with such transparency. It left me wanting more time with Michelle. I was beyond encouraged and inspired.

She shared some practical tips for managing a large family, that honestly, a mama of any size family would benefit from. I love Michelle Duggar all the more after seeing the video.

The other thing that inspired me about this video was how children and the family are so highly regarded as a blessing and gift from God. In today's culture, that seeks to destroy all things family, it was such a treat to be 'visiting' with like-minded people. I am sure you will be encouraged also.

Vision Forum has graciously provide me with a copy of Tea with Michelle Duggar to give away to one of my readers. If you or someone you think would be encouraged by this video would like to win a copy, leave a comment in the comment section. I will draw a winner on Friday morning and announce by noon on Friday.

Oh Michelle, I would LOVE to win this DVD! I met Michelle at an ATI conference about 10 or 12 years ago and after that talked to her on the phone a few times. She is so Sweet, Real and Encouragaing!! One thing I love about their TV show is that it is REAL. You see the active little kids all over the place being Rowdy and not just sitting there with plastered smiled on their faces! Anyway, I would So Love to win this. I bet it would be Very Encouraging! So, please enter my name in the drawing!!!

Please enter my name in the drawing too. The Duggar family has always inspired and intrigued me. She's like America's Super Woman.

I would also like to enter my name for the dvd. Many people see us with 9 children and pity us. I always let them know that I do NOT deserve 9 blessings from the LORD but I love them all. Then they say, "Be glad you aren't like that woman on T.V." It is so sad that people would rather have material items instead of "arrows in their quiver."

I've been eyeing this video up for some time. When we had cable I would watch the reruns in the afternoon all the time, my youngest (a small baby at the time) would give the biggest smiles when Michelle would be talking interview style on the screen. I guess she loved her constant smile and soft spokeness. Would love this video.

I have wanted this DVD for awhile. Please sign me up! Michelle has been a huge inspiration to me when I lost my voice. When I started to regain it, I would have her voice in my head as I was disciplining my children. It was so soft and sweet!

Oh...I have so wanted this DVD since the first announcement! I tried to persuade my husband to attend the baby conference...since we're in TN there was no such luck! :(

We do not have a TV, but rather a way to watch DVD's. So the Duggars intrigue me and I would love to watch what the Lord has done in their lives.

My son pays for our tv so that he can watch football when he's here and I get to watch the Duggars. Love their book. I just had my(every 5 years) mammogram and was talking to the lady there about the Duggars(and homeschooling). When people ask me how many children I have(6 then 4 granddaughters so far)) I always tell them I wish we had more. Then I mention the Duggars. When I was growing up on Long Island we had many large Catholic families here. My husband is the oldest of 9. We were married(and still attend) in a Baptist church. I think the Duggars are King James Bible only- like us.

Regarding the Duggars naming their children "J" names. I know one Catholic family where all 6 girls are named Mary but are called by their middle names(Mary Ruth, Mary Lee, Mary Monica,etc.). I know another Catholic family where all the girls are named after the Catholic church's St. Ann- Joann, Diann, Teresa-ann, Patricia-ann, Barbara-ann and the son is DANiel.

I am always encouraged by the Duggars, so I know this would be an encouragement to me. And I have time to sit and watch it since I'm recovering from the birth of our 10th blessing. :)

I watch clips from the Duggars on hard days :-). We have 4 children under the age of 5 who we homeschool and are anxiously awaiting more! I would love this DVD and would share it with everyone that asks about why we choose to have children... it happens frequently as my husband is in the military and having lots of kids on a small budget isn't something that people understand. God always provides though!
