Would You Do Me a Favor?

I am wondering if you would give me the honor of praying for you. I already do pray for the readers of this blog, in a general sense. What has been on my heart lately is to be able to pray more specifically for any of you who would be willing to share a need.

You may email me privately or post a comment, which ever you feel more comfortable with. I hope to have a button on my sidebar in the future because I am not just talking about a one time deal here, I want you to know that you may always ask for prayer.

I know sometimes it can be hard to ask for help, but I am giving you permission to ask, okay? I think it is so easy to ignore the power of prayer and the beauty of 'bearing one another's burdens'.

I would be honored by your request. The readers of this blog touch my heart in so many ways and it would be a privilege to lift them and their needs before the throne of our Almighty Father in the precious name of Jesus.

What a beautiful idea Michelle! May our loving Heavenly Father use you in a mighty way for His glory! What a privilege to pray for one another and know that the ONE to Whom we pray hears and answers! Isn't that a wonderful thought??

Have a lovely weekend my friend.
Love,
Camille

Michelle,
What an absolute Blessing that has truly humbled and honored me. I say that because I can hear the sincerity in your voice and the passion that lies within you.
My request involves our finances; I'll try to keep it short. We like so many in our country got an upside down mortgage, have quite a bit in cc debt, student loans and a home that is in need of quite a few repairs. To top it off my hubby has taken a 20% pay cut, with our governor wanting an additional 10% come July 1st. We are so very thankful that my hubby has a job, and yes we are truly Blessed while going through the storm, but there are some days the smile seems so far away.
I know Christ will never leave us nor forsake us and honestly that is what keeps us going.
Thank you,
God Bless You and Your Family,
Rebecca/CA

Rebecca, I understand fully what you are saying and I will definitely be praying for you and your situation. Thank you so much for allowing me to pray!

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

In Him,

Michelle

Michelle, thank you for this offer. I'm going to take you up on it.

I would love it if you would pray for two things:

1. That my speech would be truly transformed. The Bible says that if I can keep that part of my body in check, I'll have it made (LOL).

2. That I would learn to love and cherish my husband deeper still. I fear I take him for granted.

Thank you so much for this offer!

Michelle, thank you so much for praying for your readers. I would appreciate prayer for my spiritual life. I am seeking to know the Lord in a deeper way. I want to be closer to him. I am so thirsty for him that it almost feels physical. I would love your prayers.

What a wonderful way to share the Lord's love!

So many times I have read your posts and though you have been fatigued, you still post encouraging words and it has been a blessing. Praying for you to have healing.

My husband recently became un-employed as our small family business(he is a licensed electrician and worked with his father for 24 years)just stopped receiving calls(I know this has happened to many in these last months)My husband feels as if he failed us though this certainly is not in his control.
I admit to being filled with worry at times and losing my focus on our heavenly Father. We have what is sufficient for the day as His word promises.Praise be!At night, when all is quiet...instead of hearing His still quiet voice..all of my worries come to the front and fill my mind with "what-if's".
I appreciate your prayers.

Michelle, thank you so much for showing your interest in your readers. Your heart really shone in this post.

Would you please pray for our family. There is a possibility that my husband's job will be terminated at the end of April.

Bobbi, what a wonderful request. I am praying.

Ellen, I understand your request. My husband also works for a small family business that his dad just retired from and the calls are slow and few and far between. We are trusting God too. I will be praying.

Jenn,
Wow, seems the Lord is possibly stretching His children to rely fully on Him for provision. I will be praying for you and your family.

Thank you, Michelle! It is so comforting to know that God's people can come before the throne for each other. I often pray in the wee hours, too. The Lord wakes me up and I know it's time to pray! Have a great day.

Just discovering your blog and really enjoying it! Thanks for offering to pray for us. That's so generous.

I'd ask for 1. a slowing down in my heart so I can focus on the true priorities in life, 2. an ability to discern what's needed for each child (we have 5), 3. an increased ability to serve and bless my husband, and 4. wisdom and energy as we homeschool.

Thanks! And may blessings be returned to you many times.

Thanks for the offer of prayer. We are a homeschool family who loves the Lord Jesus Christ. My husband has been unemployed for 8 months. Although we love our home, church and community, we have even applied for jobs that would move us far away. We are willing to take a large pay cut, he just needs a job. Please pray for work and that we will not grow weary in trusting the Lord for His provision.

Thanks,
Sherri

I am blessed by your blog!

My prayers are these:
1) that the Lord allows me to leave the workplace soon to fulfill the purpose I am intended for: being a keeper of the home.
2) subsequently, let me be able to homeschool my children (Bee has 2 years left; Nate 5 years of school left)
3) that we become debt free soon, enabling me to return home
4) that my oldest boy AJ is continuing his spiritual walk with the Lord, meanwhile throwing off shackles of sin while he does his time in prison (for robbery) and comes home May 2011.
5) that I do raise the other two in the way the Lord wants, and if it is His will, to allow me to provide another child for Layne
6) that I fulfill my role as Layne's helpmeet
7) that we find our church home

Thank you! By the way, your little grandson looks SO MUCH like one of my own babies!

Blessings,
Mistie

Hello Michelle~I just love reading your posts~you have a really nice blog. I really need prayer concerning my 9year old daughter. I have always homeschooled her and her older sister. But now she wants to go to school outside the home. We have a public school near us that appears to be very clean and nice inside but I never wanted to send her to a non-Christian institution to learn. She would be in 4th grade. I try to join other homeschool groups and make it fun as well as teaching the proper subjects. Unfortunatly, she hears some of the girls on the block talking about "specials" like music, art, gym etc. Which we do together, anyway. My husband said that she could go for a year but not the middle school. I am really having a lot of hesitations concerning public school and what they are teaching. Thank you so much for praying for me and my family~God bless, Rose
My e-mail is rfm12345@gmail.com if you would like to share any thoughts on this situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
