Odds and Ends

I wanted to let you all know that I am feeling better! I have been slowly 'coming back'. Today was my first day on Mama duty. Now, it is a short day, as the children are at piano, but I did handle, for the most part a couple of hours this morning. The rest of the day should be easy. I have a nap and shortly thereafter Brian will be home.

The Lord has been ministering to me greatly through His word. One scripture after another is taking on new meaning as I seek Him for healing and the roots to my illness. It is so cool what He is doing. I have such hope for myself, for my family and for anyone the Lord puts in our path to minister to. I will share more as He brings it together, but for now, please pray for discernment and my eyes to be opened and my heart convicted.

When He heals and sanctifies it is not all about the physical! He wants us whole, spirit, soul and body!

May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The One who calls you is faithful and He will do it.
I am so excited at what He is showing me I have really restrain myself from wanting to run around shouting it from the rooftops, I'm not walking in total health yet ;-) My sweet husband listens so patiently to me going on and on. I feel bad for him, he is hungry for it too, but he has to work and take care of so much, he doesn't have the same opportunity as I do. The Lord will teach both of us, I am confident. For now, he is getting an ear full!
After my appointment last week I increased the progesterone significantly and believe this is also part of why I am making a comeback. I also put a little bit of the cream on my wrists before bed and believe this is helping with my sleep. I can go for five hours straight now! This is HUGE! Sleep heals adrenals! I have not slept normal in many, many years. I am so excited.
Also,

Okay, not to beat a dead horse, or cow for that matter, BUT,

Food Inc. is airing on PBS tomorrow, April 21, 2010! That means you have one less excuse if you have not watched it yet. Watch it or tape it and then watch it. Here is your chance!

Hi Michelle,

Good to hear that you are feeling better. Hope it keeps up.

Everyone should see Food Inc. I saw it a while ago, hubby was able to download it on the computer for me. Sure gives you a lot to think about. We are making gradual changes to our diet and as budget allows.

Hope you have a wonderful day.

Whoo-hoo! Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better! God is good!
I have a little giftie I will be dropping off soon. Perhaps after supper.
I have seen different posts concerning Food, INC. on PBS. Ang and Matt are going to her brothers to watch it. I have seen it 3x's already, and really could see it again. It is so chock full of information, and the out-takes on the DVD are as informative as the movie.

This documentary has finally put my husband and I on the same page as far as food goes! For years I've been going it alone and my family just not getting it. Since he's seen it, he's talking to anyone who will listen about organic food, being overfed and undernourished, gardening, etc. AMAZING!!!

Working on our organic garden.....

SO glad to hear you're doing better, praise the Lord!

I'm looking forward to hearing what the Lord has showed you, but in His timing. Sometimes He shows us things that are not to be shared, but kept in our hearts. But there are also revelations that are for the edification of the Body, so He will show you...He's so wonderful to come to us in our times of weakness.

Yes, I hope to watch Food, Inc tomorrow along with my husband. Just maybe it will speed up the building of our chicken coop!

I am so glad you are feeling better. I can't imagine what it is like to endure what you have and still be so strong at the same time. God gives us strength in different areas of our life when we need it. I will continue to pray for your family. When you feel up to it let me know and we will schedule our meeting. I didn't want to add stress to you at this time.

Glad to know that you are on the road to feeling better and that you are starting to sleep better. It is amazing how much sleep helps. It is also encouraging to hear that you are finding strength in the Lord and that He is feeding your soul. I have been praying for you as the Lord lays you on my heart.
